Nominaciones de la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Interactivas

Los Interactive Achievement Awards, entregados por la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Interactivas (AIAS), son los premios más respetados de la industria y los que más se podrían aproximar a los Oscars de Hollywood en el mundo del videojuego. Ya se han dado a conocer los nominados para su 8ª ceremonia de entrega de premios, que se celebrará el próximo martes 1 de febrero en Las Vegas. Entre los nominados destaca Half-Life 2, con 9 candidaturas, incluyendo mejor juego del año, mejor juego de PC y mejor FPS. Le siguen DOOM 3 y Halo 2, ambos con 6 nominaciones. GTA San Andreas se queda con 5.
La gran decepción la protagoniza Far Cry, que no ha obtenido ni una sola nominación, mientras que la sorpresa la da un título absolutamente original, Katamari Damacy, compitiendo por los galardones más prestigiosos. Ya encontramos entre los candidatos programas de Nintendo DS. Y en simuladores tendremos una lucha encarnizada entre Pacific Fighters y Los Sims 2 por llevarse el gato al agua.
