La histórica C&VG ha dado a conocer los triunfadores de sus Golden Joystick de 2003, entre los que destaca Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, al alzarse con el título de mejor juego del año en todas las categorías. También quedó vencedor como título de PS2, mientras Championship Manager 4 lo hacía en PC, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker en GameCube, Star Wars: Caballeros de la Antigua República en Xbox y Advance Wars 2 en Game Boy Advance. Shigeru Miyamoto se llevó el premio a la personalidad más importante del año, mientras Pro Evolution Soccer 3 recibía el de juego más importante para los editores de la publicación.
