Esto significa que puedes sacarle todo el partido a las funciones del modo Ad hoc de tus títulos preferidos de PSP aunque tus compañeros de juego no se encuentren cerca.
Play your favourite PSP games in Ad Hoc Mode with anyone simply by using PlayStation 3
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has announced that adhocParty is now in PlayStation®Store, letting PSP (PlayStation Portable) gamers get connected. Ad Hoc Mode has allowed players to play together wirelessly as long as they’re in close proximity to each other – until now. With the free downloadable adhocParty application you can now play Ad Hoc with people online, regardless of distance, simply by using PlayStation 3 (PS3) as a server to bridge the miles.
Now you can have all the fun of Ad Hoc multiplayer gaming on top titles including Gran Turismo®, Dissidia® Final Fantasy and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, even when you’re away from your friends. Just download adhocParty from PlayStation Store to PS3, then connect your PSP wirelessly to PlayStation®Network via PS3 connected to broadband by Ethernet cable.
Isabelle Tomatis, European Marketing Manager, Hardware and Platforms, at SCEE explains “PlayStation is about bringing people together, whether that’s in a room or around the world; its about making new friends, sharing great moments and good times. With adhocParty we do just that, providing a simple way for PSP to reach out allowing fans of top titles to connect, team-up and play away.”
“The success of activity such as the Gathering Hall in the UK, a dedicated venue setup to facilitate multiplayer hunting sessions, proves that people are keen to play Monster Hunter Freedom Unite with friends and the new adhocParty service will make it even easier for gamers to team up and play together not just in their own country but throughout Europe” commented Michael Pattison, Senior Director, Marketing, Capcom Europe.
Available for free from PlayStation Store you need never be without a friend – or enemy – to play against again.
